We were very disappointed with our stay. First, we weren’t informed ahead of time that the pool was under renovation—this was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Had we known, we would’ve booked elsewhere.
Our second-floor room had no window screen, which is not only uncomfortable but also a potential safety issue. The window opened fully, which to my understanding is a safety violation — especially on higher floors. Even more concerning, the door didn’t lock from the inside, leaving us feeling unsafe the entire time.
To top it off, we noticed the elevator inspection certificate was expired, which raises serious concerns about maintenance and safety standards in the building.
To be fair, I understand that I could have complained or requested a room change — but I was in town for a family emergency and didn’t have the time or energy to deal with these issues while managing more urgent matters. . This hotel needs to be much more transparent about its amenities and take guest safety more seriously. Definitely won’t be staying here again or recommending it to others.
