A all the employees but the hotel needs maintenance, the pool was closed the whole time we where there they send you to a hotel across the street if you want to get in a pool the bathroom has little roaches and the water in the shower and sink is salt water so bring extra conditioner also if you paying all inclusive or just breakfast they'll send you across the street to The Ceiba restauran no ac and the food is not that good (really bad actually)at the end you get what you paid for if you planning to stay here I hope you read more comments no just this one then is up to you, they respond to all negative reviews with a generic comment

La llave del cuarto la ponen en el brazalete, lo cual es buena idea, PERO lo MALO es que es a UNA SOLA persona p/c. Eso NO nos gustó porque fui con una amiga y ella dependía de mi para entrar al cuarto. Si se le quedaba algo, yo tenia que interrumpir lo mío para buscar lo de ella. :-( En lo demás, está bastante bien y buena ubicación.

El personal de recepción más cerrados que portón con mil candados , nunca quisieron darme una llave extra en una habitación de 4 personas , pésima la calidad del agua , te quieren vender el servicio de desayunos muy insistentemente y si no lo compras te ponen caras.Lo único bueno del hotel es la ubicación, creo que nunca regresaría , de hecho preferí perder noches e irme a otro hotel y fue un mundo de diferencia en todos los aspectos

Las habitaciones estaban descuidada y con mal olor, pedimos un cambio de habitacion por que me dieron en 4to pisos y no había elevador pues yo padesco de un mal de la colina vertebral y para cambiarme tuve que pagar 140 dolares de un programa por desayunos, después en la nueva habitación las almohadas tenían ma olor, las habitaciones están descuidadas con muchas cosas oxidadas y el agua para bañarse es salobre y vi a 2 amas de llaves lavar el trapeador con agua de la piscina, las siguiente 4 noches que permaneció en playa del carmen decidí irme a otro Hotel llamado Colonial donde todo está muy bien.. El hotel tukan Es un desastre

From the out side the property looks nice and it is in a great central location where you can walk to shops, restaurants, and excursion meeting points. Lots of mosquitos inside the rooms. We had to change rooms due to a water leak then in the new room the shower did not drain properly, the toilet would not fill up after flushing, and one of the AC units made loud clicking noises. We chose this hotel because of location and price. We booked several tours around the area and did not spend a lot of time at the hotel. The staff was helpful and attentive.
