It did smell like cigarettes in the halls as we walked in but crazy enough our room didn’t. We had the hot tub room! Very cozy and clean with new mattress and the best pillows.

My family has stayed numerous times at the Elm Grove, Wva Super 8. It is clean and comfortable. The rates through Expedia for Super 8 are fantastic. We are on the go all day when in Wheeling to visit family, we just use the room to sleep. I cannot justify paying $100 more per night to stay at a nicer hotel such as Hampton Inn. I recommend Elm Grove, Wva Super 8 for great rates and comfortable stay.

There is some kind of smoke smell . Bed sheets dirty. Furniture chairs are dirty.On morning break no egg , no juice for kids . It’s only waffle and bread.

They fail to mention they charge $50.00 (refundable) for the damage deposit BUT KEEP.AN EXTRA $5.00 For charging you. Breakfast was limited to toast, waffles, or cereal and coffee. Our room had a strange odor in it and there were some sketchy people there for sure. We had an issue with the toilet and told the person at the desk and when we got back 9 hours later still not resolved. When we called again they came right then and fixed it. I would not feel safe staying there alone.

They fail to mention they charge $50.00 (refundable) for damage deposit BUT KEEP.AN EXTRA $5.00 For charging you. Nowhere does it say that, so the room is basicly $5.00 more. Between Super 8 here in Wheeling and the one in Gettysburg PA I will never stay at another Wyndham Property. I'll also not use hotels.com, Expedia, booking ECT... My next trip I'll simply look up hotels in my area and book directly. No more money for nothing. Most importantly, no more Super 8 for any reason.
