When I checked in the lad y behind the desk was very confused. Once the owner assisted her she gave me my keys. Got to my door and the batteries on the lock were dead so we couldn’t open it. I let the lady know and she gave me new keys and told me not to put them near a magnet. They still didn’t work since the lock was dead. They told me they would send up maintenance and then forgot. When I went back down for the third time the me keys to another room. That room was subpar. Smelled of mildew and the sheets felt like sandpaper. In the morning we were told we were

Nightmare stay

One of the worst stays we have ever had (and we travel a lot). Noisy with drilling and pounding overhead at all hours. Room service tools 2 hours and arrived ice cold. No room cleaning, had to seek out staff and beg for towels and coffee pods. Bathroom door squealed to high heaven waking all when anyone got up to use bathroom. Truly one of the worst stays ever!!

We had to stay in San Antonio another night due to flight cancelations. I got very little rest. You had to push one of the elevator doors just to get it open. Front desk was rude. Shower leaked in floor. Smelled of mold. Very outdated....

Poor maintenance

Air conditioning unit in need of repair, made loud noise when on. Bathroom vent fan had a worn bearing that screeched the entire time the bathroom light as on. Between the two, the noise was terrible; SLEEP WAS ALLMOST IMPOSSIBLE. Very poor maintenance.

Thankful

This location is very busy, however it was super close to the airport. The room size was exceptional, although I’m not sure why they would use a sheer curtain between the two rooms in the suite, zero privacy between the two spaces. Let’s talk about the shower. The water pressure was insane, but not in a good way because the shower head was spraying like it was on a mission to wash the dirtiest car! Ouch! On top of that only one shower door slid open so you had to get wet to turn the water on. The best part of the stay was the crew. We were picked up at the airport by the shuttle and when it was time to leave we had to be at the airport at 430am. Shuttle service was not available that early but I know the gentleman would have taken us because when he saw us waiting for the Uber he asked if we had a ride and I could tell he was ready to take us if we didn’t. Then when we got to the airport I realized I had left my wallet outside on the bench of the hotel. The same gentleman was the one that found it and drove it over to me at the airport! What a fine crew of people. In the end it was much appreciated that the staff was a genuine group of caring people. Like I said before, it is a busy location and it was a little loud at night but if location to the airport is what you need. It works.

Never again

The hotel was very old and in despair. They had maintenance guys blowing leaves at 4 am. The keys had to be changed out 3 times. TV did not work and the elevators were scary.
