Overall the hotel is run down and could use some renovations. My major concerns were that there was a party going on under my room with a DJ going so we could hear the entire party and our room was vibrating from the base. I asked to be moved to a different room bc I had a toddler to get to bed but nothing could be done. The music went on to 10pm. Another major red flag was when we came back to our room from being at a basketball tournament, my room door was open!! They said maintenance came to check the lock and must have forgotten to close it! Thankfully it didn’t seem that anyone entered my room and nothing was stolen. The room conditions could have been better. It was overall clean but the carpet was stained and outdated, room phone was busted and fridge had an odor. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good but your not allowed to take it back to your room or they threaten you with a $50 fee….. If you don’t mind loud party music, might be a good place for a quick stay but wouldn’t recommend for families with little kids.

Came back from a trip and wanted to soak in the hot tub and relax. But the hotel hot tub was not running. It was why we booked here instead of holiday in express for half the price but we couldn’t cancel because we did our booking directly thru hotels.com - we called hotels.com to at least cancel our second night but they said ask the hotel. The hotel said no because it’s booked through hotels.com. The hotel hallways were hot, humid, musty (they had blowers going), looks like one of the rooms had flooded. The pool lights didn’t work so we were swimming in the dark until maintenance came to fix it. Gym didn’t have a treadmill only a bike and free weights. The breakfast was yummy with waffles, coffee was meh, but they have a $50 fine if you take food back to your room. My kids were sleeping in so they didn’t get breakfast because I couldn’t bring them cereal. The beds were hard, sheets had cigarette burns. It was overall a disappointing stay. I don’t know how they can charge what they do.

We arrived at night and everything appeared clean and in order. As I looked around there were printed signs taped to walls and doors all over the place. Everything from keep the door locked to nighttime guidelines. We got up to our room and found it to be dated, but clean. Then we tried to pull out the sofa bed. Upon opening it, wires popped up and the sofa never laid flat. Around 8 am, housekeeping knocked on my door to come clean while we were still in bed. It was apparently the wrong room, but the housekeepers continued to talk loudly in the hallway while cleaning rooms. Since we were not awake, we decided to grab breakfast and were greeted with yet another printed sign stating that we would incur a $50 fee if we took our food upstairs. We ate downstairs due to the sign, but found the breakfast to be underwhelming, even for 2-star chain hotel breakfasts. Pastries were sparse, sausage and potatoes soggy, very few food choices
