Buena opción si tu interés no es gastronómico

Me he hospedado en varios hoteles Todo Íncluido y esta fue una experiencia algo diferente. El hotel en sí es muy bonito, tiene dos albercas y una ubicación espectacular frente a la playa. Hay mucho espacio para relajarse en camastros. Todos los días organizan actividades en el área de la alberca y por la noche, hay shows en un teatro al aire libre. La habitación era amplia y cómoda, pero tuvimos un inconveniente con el agua caliente. Aunque reportamos el problema y el personal acudió rápidamente, no lo solucionarlo. Lamentablemente, no tener agua suficientemente caliente le resta puntos a una experiencia que debería ser relajante. El servicio del personal fue muy amable y atento, las mayores desventajas giran en torno a la comida. Las opciones del buffet eran bastante limitadas y el sabor nada destacable; lo más rescatable fue el desayuno. Algo que nos decepcionó bastante fue la política de los restaurantes temáticos. Se requiere una estancia mínima de 3 noches para obtener solo una cena en estos restaurantes, a diferencia de otros hoteles (como el de junto: Royal Hideaway también de Barceló Hotels) donde basta con reservar con antelación. Para quienes valoramos mucho la gastronomía, esto fue una gran desventaja. En resumen, este hotel puede ser una excelente opción para grupos o familias que buscan divertirse en la playa y no tienen mayores expectativas gastronómicas. Si la comida es una experiencia importante de tu viaje, considera otras opciones.

Beautiful beach. Did not enjoy all the kids in the swim up bar area. Kids should not be sitting on the bar stools while adults have to stand or go somewhere else. Kids constantly splashing and playing on stair handles. Even after being told not to. Maybe no kids allowed in that pool at all.

Small all-inclusive in Playacar - we liked the size compared to some of the larger AIs we’ve stayed at. Fortunately the buffet dining area was very good for all three meals, because to get a reservation at one of the small restaurants was ridiculous (you have to wait in line the morning you want to dine, they start taking reservations at 9:30 but people queue up starting at 8:30am!). Adriana makes a great custom omelet and we loved having Paolo as our server). Pools were nice & clean. Beach area had plenty of chairs. Rooms were a good size and had good AC in our ground floor unit. Entertainment each night was very good. Overall a very casual resort that we enjoyed!

We had a fantastic stay at the Allegro Playacar. The view and beach was stunning. The beach was so clean with beautiful sand and easy access to walk right into the sea. The resort had great food that changed daily with no shortage of options for all preferences. The staff was all very helpful, kind and happy to be there.

Cosas buenas, cosas malas. No recomendable

En general, no regresaríamos. Primero, lo bueno: El sazón de la comida es bueno, la atención de muchos meseros y bartenders es buena. La playa es excelente (arena y color de mar). Tiene muchas plantas, espacios para caminar y animalitos. Cada habitación tiene hamaca. El restaurante japonés muy bien. Hay canchas de tenis, mesa de billar y Air hockey (cuesta $10). Anayelli, mesera de la playa, muy bien. El show de Michael Jackson y circo son buenos. Ahora lo malo: La atención del personal de recepción es muy mala, especialmente el equipo de Marvin y Javier. Son muy lentos e ineficientes, el check in tardó más de 40 minutos y principalmente fue ellos en su computadora siendo muy lentos. Pedimos cambio de habitación porque no salía agua caliente, en otra habitación no funcionaba la TV ni el teléfono, en fin, no funciona mucho de las habitaciones porque está viejo y en mal estado (hamaca, almohadas, etc). Algunas cosas las aceptamos (aunque es incómodo) y otras pedimos cambio, y ahí es donde entra constantemente la ineficiencia de recepción, que arruina la experiencia porque te dicen que si y no hacen nada o nunca llega el técnico y te quedas horas esperando. A las habitaciones les falta mucho mantenimiento, y los técnicos no resuelven realmente. Se trata de ir a aguantar cosas que no funcionan y elegir tus batallas. El show de magia terrible. El restaurante mexicano la comida es mala. El desayuno buffet cierra temprano (11 am).

The attention of the employees is excellent, there is a great variety in the buffets, and the a la carte restaurants also offer a very pleasant experience. Its location on the beach is perfect and very close to Downtown Playacar.

While the grounds were beautiful, the dining options were limited and repetitive. We spent the first three days without hot water. The TV did not work and the one they replaced it with had a scratched screen and poorly lit picture.

The property needs a bit of updating and a deep clean. Especially chairs in dining area. Scrub between the squares on the backs of the chairs. Love Alejandro, Ricardo, Humberto. We had large beetles in our room. Very frightening in the night going to the washroom and seeing one of them on the floor. Not as good a visit as 5 yrs ago. Alot of the same staff though and we loved that.

La atención muy bien, muy buenos alimentos y por eso regresamos e invitamos a unos amigos, 2 detalles nadamas, cuando hice la reserva solicite algún detalle para una señora o la q fuimos era su cumpleaños y respondieron que si pero pues no hubo nada y el otro solo un restaurante de especialidad estaba abierto y quise solicitar reservacion y no pude, acudí al restaurante y la señorita aun diciendo q era el cumpleaños de la señora no quiso darnos entrada el detalle es que el lugar estaba vacío y según ellos lleno, era la 2a vez q voy a ese hotel en 4 meses ya lo pensaré se nuevo si regreso
