The hotel is beautiful, so clean, staff so helpful they cant do enough for you. The food (i am vegan) is so delicious. The hotel is a short taxi ride to all the main tourist landmarks. I love this hotel, the staff are the most attentive, kind and genuinely want to make your stay lovely. PLus they have a great outdoor pool !

I'm not trying to be racist or put down anybody from a different country, but the number of Chinese with their poor behavior just killed everything positive about this hotel. I stayed on the non-smoking floor, and the smell of smoke was so bad that it might have been a smoking floor. I'm sure the staff can smell it, but they didn't do a thing about it during my 4 nights there. Had to call the front desk as I could hear these Chinese people yelling and screaming across the hallway with their doors open. Yet it took them an extra 15 minutes to even send anybody. Next time I'm staying at the Nikko Hotel about 5 minutes away. If you have no other choice, make sure to ask if there are any Chinese tour groups nearby when checking in. Sorry to say, but they'll ruin everything good about the hotel and your stay.

All was v good. Just one minor thing … room 1109, the shower glass door is not able to contain water within, n this caused the shower water to flow into the floor of the bathroom. A wet floor is v slippery 😊. The gift of wine bottle is much appreciated, TQVM!

Very nice staff. Extremely helpful and polite. The room was clean and tidy. A nice balcony overlooking the city. The washing service was too expensive so I was disappointed with that. The washing was more than my clothes were worth. I should have checked so I do except that but was not expecting those prices. The pool area is lovely. Bar good service

Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet food was mediocre at best. Staff clears food immediately as breakfast ends. Few minutes late and no food for you. It’s a crime to have bad coffee in VN, capital of amazing coffee. Somehow this hotel manages to do this. Non smoking hotel but people still smoke. I had to complain twice about cigarette smell as soon as I left my room.

I had time to stay nicely. have satisfied basically. *Check-In & Check-Out was speedy ! *I was presentd red wine by the promotion of Hotels.com. *Hotel's restaurant was good. *Breakfast was good, too. *Staffs were kind & polite. *I wanted them prepare the menu of room service from the beginning. I will use here again.

I stayed 2 nights. I read some of the other reviews and they got fruit juice upon arrival, turndown service with chocolates. I got none of that. The room was decent, a bit old but functional. The breakfast buffet was terrible. The orange juice was brown and tasted awful. The rice congee was too thick and full of lumps. They had a poor selection of fruits - no watermelon. The only thing that was really excellent was the gym and swimming pool. And the staff was helpful. Not sure I’d stay again.

I booked 2 rooms for 4 person , there should be arrangement to have both next or near by each other since my great aunt is 88 yrs old and have difficulty in walking. It’s long debate during the checkin !! The front desk lady kept insisted that No available rooms that could be arranged nearby. After almost an hour finally I did get what I asked for. The experience was Horrible. I stayed in Equatorial Hotel since 2014 whenever I visit VN .ot never experienced like this. All other services are excellent. Staffs are professional and friendly most times. The bathroom towels needed to replace with newer towels , they were overused. Thanks

1,7군만 고집해서 가는지 잘모를정도로 5군에 최고의 호텔입니다. 주변 맛집,야시장도 가깝게 있고 너무 좋습니다. 수영장도 크고 직원들도 친절하고...단 수영장에 근무하는 직원들은 친절하지 않아요!(장난안치고 수영만 하면 뭐라 하지는 않은거 같고요)

We had a great stay at the Equatorial. We had kids also and the staff was friendly and helpful (sadly this is not the norm at all 5-star properties in Vietnam, so it was a nice experience). The pool is great, I would recommend a room by the pool. The food was also very food (slightly pricy compared to alternatives, but comparable). I would recommend this hotel as great option for visiting HCMC.

Vi ankom nytårsaften. Vi ventede længe på at checke ind. Værelset var fint. Vi havde et deluxe værelse til 2 voksne og 2 børn, og det var meget passende med to enkelt senge. Generelt var personalet ikke særlig venlige. Poolmanden var hele tiden over børnene. Rengøringen fjernede ikke gammel mad fra værelset ved rengøringen. Maden var ikke særlig god på restauranten. Hverken morgenmad eller aftensmad. Vælg et hotel i distrikt 1 i stedet!
