8月-9月住了16天,10月又來住了2天,前台服務員的態度大多都是冷漠或是不太友好。房間服務更是粗糙不堪,用完的東西不補充,該扔的不扔,不該仍的卻扔了。早上9點多,旁邊房間在做清潔,簡直像地震一樣,硬生生把你震醒。。。真是無話可說了。而且價格還不便宜,連稅將近1400一晚。
也有好的:自己開車的話地點算是很不錯的,去市中心14分鐘,去比斯特購物村也是14分鐘,而且就在Park and Ride邊上,有巴士到市中心。另外就是房間很安靜,也蠻大的,床和被褥也算舒服。
小提示:自己帶拖鞋和洗漱用品;辦理入住的同時登記車牌,否則會被要求付停車費。

Staff attitude is not so good. When asking about the bath robe for swimming. Inconsistent answer from staff and the floor staff is not friendly. Locker in the changing room requires coin where no one will take coin to swimming ! No sign or notice shows other alternative e.g. Substitute coin.
the drive in road is easy to miss. overall a value for money hotel. will stay there again next time I visit Oxford as is close to my friend's house.

Good location for driving, and close to service station with cafes/mini supermarket. Like their towel dryer (heater) in the bathroom, providing warm and clean towels.

Everything was fine until I went for dinner (pre-booked and pre-paid). I was given a very limited menu and wasn;t really taken with anything on offer. I chose the 'safe' choice of fish and chips but unfortunately the fish really was drowned in oil and so I didn't each much of it. Is it not put on a rack after frying and before serving. This would instantly solve this issue. But what was totally unacceptable was that, as the last diner I was left (abandoned) for a full 25 minutes alone, no staff, and wanting to leave. Eventually I got up from the table and returned to my room as I knew that I could pay for my (not included) wine in the morning. To then be disturbed in my room as I was getting ready for work by a staff member banging on the room door and thrusting a card reader at me, saying "you haven't paid for your wine" was totally unacceptable. When I said I couldn't pay for it as there were no staff available - and anyway I could pay for it in the morning when I checked out - the staff member said "No, you have to pay it now" - like I was like some "risk of flight" danger to Holiday Inn. I was gobsmacked.
