Our stay was okay, but not quite what I’m used to, especially compared to a previous Hyatt Place we’ve stayed at before. The bed was very firm, which made it hard to get comfortable. Also, when booking a double room, I assumed it would be two queen beds—as is standard in many hotels—but it turned out to be two full-size beds. It would really help if the hotel specified on their website and any third-party booking sites that the room includes full-size beds instead of queens. Sleeping in a full bed was uncomfortable, especially for two people.
The first room we were given had no hot water, so we had to switch rooms. Thankfully, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and they helped us resolve the issue quickly. However, the bathroom in both rooms felt dated, with cracked caulking around the tub that made it look a bit worn.
One highlight of our stay was the complimentary breakfast. My family and I really enjoyed it, and I appreciated that the hotel still offers this amenity—especially since many places have moved away from providing free breakfast since the pandemic.
Overall, the staff was great and the breakfast was a nice touch, but the hotel itself could use some updates and better clarity on room details.
