Sapphire Beach club was a little run down however the staff was very accommodating. We received fresh towels just about each day despite having a do not disturb sign up) There were a few issues with our hotel room itself, like took a little finagling in order to open the hotel door room but we worked out the kinks. Our shower head was not attached to the shower it was just a handheld. I am not sure if all rooms were like this but ours did not attach. I was a little disappointed as the photos on Expedia show bathrobes however there were no bathrobes. All in all the hotel was in a great location to get you to either the French side or the other side of Sint Maarten in about 20 minutes. The hotel was still clean and safe and it was a good place to just clean up and get some rest if you plan to be out all day.

A place to sleep!

Good location to access the Casino, shops, Moho Beach, and Simpson Bay. The resort is older so don’t expect a lot in terms of ascetics or high quality. It’s a place to sleep if you’re going to explore the island and go to different beaches.

This property ads are very misleading. So called beach access is via a parking garage to a very steep staircase that leads to approximately a foot of sand a huge rocks. There is not a beach to walk in, lay out on or even get in water from. The excuse given is pictures are BEFORE 2017 hurricane . The bar is a whole story in self, it is boring, dull, very limited drink selection and closes at 9. No entertainment at all. Restaurant food is horrible and very limited. The rooms are nice and staff are great but doesn’t make u for beach and the boring resort. Spa is in basement and is just concrete room. The store is good and man who runs great. If you are older and just want a pool and nice clean bed this is your place. If you want to enjoy beach without having to drive play, good food and activities stay elsewhere.

Pros: - The deluxe oceanview studio was generally fine. It was large and clean. - Appliances looked new. - Staff were welcoming and pleasant. - low pricr for the view and size of the room. Cons: - Mattress was extremely firm and uncomforable to sit on. - A bad smell eminated from the kitchen sink drain that clorox bleach didnt seem to cure. - Refrigerator turned off one day and elevator went out one day but both were quickly fixed. - Property overall needs updates. They should minimally paint the rusted exterior metal fences, get rid of the faded red driveway and update the bathrooms. - The fitness center had broken equipment and was not clean.

I will start by saying that when we arrived the front desk clerk was friendly and professional. However, we were told that there was no reservation made for us. So we had to wait a short while until they found something. When we were finally given a room, I believe we were given what was left back.. as spacious as there rooms are, there is no proper lighting except in the bathroom and kitchen area. Our bathroom didn’t have a shower head either so we had to squat in the tub to shower. the air condition in the room also did not work well and the toilet kept making weird noises all the time. Our pillow cases had brown stains and the towels we were first given in the bathroom had clumps of eyelashes stuck on the and strands of hair. Other than that parking was fine, and the views from our room was nice

Layout and location was nice. Gym was not good. Food very limited and not great. The front desk, bartender and cleaning ladies were friendly. The place just seems tired. We still enjoyed our stay even though our expectations were a little higher.

Great place to stay away from all the busy areas. Loved the view from our 6th floor balcony, wish they removed the hot tubs that no longer work with seating. Marcia truly takes care of you during your stay, you can tell she loves her work and wants to make sure you have an amazing time.

We recently stayed at Sapphire Beach Club Resort and had a great experience overall. Our flight arrived earlier than expected at 11:44 AM, so we made it to the hotel by around 1 PM. Although check-in isn't officially until 4 PM, the front desk staff was very accommodating. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but they kindly stored our luggage so we could explore the resort and surrounding area without hassle. To our surprise and delight, our room was ready by 2 PM—much earlier than expected! The resort itself is in a fantastic location with beautiful views and easy access to nearby attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable—just what we needed to unwind and enjoy our stay. We really appreciated the extra effort from the staff to get us into our room early and make our stay as smooth as possible. Would definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit Sint Maarten!
