Had dinner at the Monarch Resturant on property…wonderful and the server Alex K was perfect. Decided to have breakfast there as well!

Was there for Morgan Wallen concert. Staff was friendly but terribly unprepared. Every place overcrowded. Out of everything by the pool. Food/drink service very slow. Employees seemed very overwhelmed.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Zaza in the museum district. We love to stay there when we have an event at NRG Stadium for the ease of using the train to get to it. I do believe that the Balet is a little high, but maybe it is market price. The fees seem high, but the staff is attentive and the bed was super comfortable. The pool was hard to get a chair in and I wish the would add more free seating for guests. I do realize that is their niche service.

This was a top-notch experience, from the friendly, informative staff to the amenities. The lobby is very welcoming, with candy available (a tootsie rolls bouquet and hot tamales in a jar) as well as cookies and refreshing fruit water. The room was clean, comfortable and welcoming and we had a lovely surprise...after a day out at Hermann Park, we came back to a cheese and fruit platter, chocolate and a bottle of wine, thanking us for staying at Zaza. It was perfect and the location even better!

What a wonderful two night “staycation”! The hotel is beautiful and beds are extremely comfortable. We had some great meals at the Monarch and loved the freshly baked cookies each day and coffee each morning. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful. Even though there were lots of events going on and lots of guests, our room was very quiet. We can’t wait to come back!

Our main issue with this hotel is the smell. The lobby smells musty as well as the halls. Our first room was dusty and had such strong smell I had to take an allergy medication and still was so stuffed up we requested an early check out. The front desk gave us a room with less carpet by the pool. The thing is, all the carpets in this hotel are pasty, stained, old and dusty. All the smells were very strong. It didn’t feel healthy. The rooms are individually decorated. Both of our rooms were dark and very dated. We have stayed at artsy hotels in many different cities and have loved it but this is a different vibe, very old, dark and dated.
The pool area is nice.
This hotel needs some new floors, ceiling tiles, updated bathrooms and to address the moldy smell. Our rate was almost $400 a night. We expect better at this price point.
