They're trying but....
When we checked in, the clerk told us that a new owner was making repairs as fast as possible. Good - but the hallway smelled like chemicals. The doors in this property are dangerous. Sometimes the handles need to go up, sometimes down; a child in the room across the hall got locked in for a while. The card reader on the outside of the building did not work so they told us a workaround. It did work - but anyone watching could use it to get in! No security in other words. The bathtub had been refinished and was peeling horribly. The staff was polite and professional - most were even friendly. I felt sorry for them as they had to carefully cover for the inadequacies of the property. As repairs are made, this may be a great property. But for now, ok is the best we can give it. We will say that we appreciated 2 improvements from our previous year's stay: a microwave (not available in every room yet, ask the clerk) and a chair at the desk.

Comfy clean friendly stay
Great hotel, very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Hot tub wasn’t working entirely and pool ran out of towels but a huge group had just gone through so not entirely their fault. Breakfast was good and nice variety but very short window to eat. The alarm clock in our room went off at 6am and it was hard to shut off. It was also set to go off just before check out which made us feel rushed. Overall nice hotel, friendly staff, would stay again.

Perfect stay for my parents and me to be in town for my son's college baseball games. Great service, clean and comfortable rooms, several nearby restaurants and shopping, short drive to Memphis and surrounding communities.

Housekeeping may need a retraining
Wonderful front desk service. Housekeeping never came in my room for the 3 nights I was there. When I first got there I had to call down to the front desk to get towels. Only bath towels had been provided initially. I also had to notify the front desk to relay to Housekeeping to empty my waste baskets. Of the 2 in the room, only 1 was emptied.

Subpar Hotel for the price $$$
Our room was decent it had a stench smell to it , the bed was not as comfortable compare to other hotels at the price range. Breakfast was decent to say the less. I would not go back , for a Marriott hotel it was the worst one I had stayed at not to thier standards especially for the price

Nast old hotel
I had to change rooms when I first checked in because the tv did not work. So the front desk associate that works at night was very helpful. He gave me another room but it was very dirty! We walked around to 4 different rooms all dirty! So I just settled for the last one because i was told that I could not recieve a refund! The last room was so bad I just checked out and went home it smelled bad dirty towels and bed linen and spots in the carpet! I didn't stay because I dont think they had any clean rooms! And you could see that the hotel needs to make repairs! I wouldn't let my dog sleep in this hotel

There’s were little things around the room that could use touch ups or we’re missed when cleaned after the stay before us. Coffee grounds still in the pot for who knows how long. Shower heads could use an upgrade. Shower could also use a deep clean. Reggie was the best part of our stay.

Not perfect, but safe area
Great price. Great location. Room furnishings and linens were great. Pool and hot tub were both down, which was not stated upon making reservation. Door to room had been propped open with the latch after checking, which was weird. Later we realized there were no bath towels and had to call for some. Door locks were being repaired because the dead bolt stayed engaged unless you opened from inside. Management said there was a trick to it. Breakfast was decent with choices and staff was friendly. HVAC wall units should be cleaned as concerns with dampness and possible mold.
