I decided to stay at the hotel after being promised a tax exemption by the receptionist before I checked in. However, at the time of check-in and check-out, the receptionist verbally stated that the tax exemption would be processed on the basis of the documents I provided, but in fact it was not. A few days after I checked out, I called and emailed again to ask about the tax refund, and was asked to provide proof of identity and relevant documents for the refund by email, but so far it has been another week since then, with no news. I am really, again and again, disappointed that they do not keep their word!
