The hotels in Vancouver tend to be very expensive, and unfortunately, this one didn’t deliver good value for what we paid. The breakfast selection was decent but the cold cuts were just stacked and stored in a plastic box without proper chilling. The dining area was not very clean either.
The greeter at breakfast was a bit too eager, constantly asking every guest if they were checking out that day, which got a little annoying to be honest. She also closely monitored what guests took from the buffet, making some feel uncomfortable, as if being overly watched.
Additionally, driving into the hotel was tricky, with confusing roads and poor signage. Another downside was the AC unit being located at the far end of the room, which meant you had to crank it up high to cool the entire space—definitely not very eco-friendly.
