The a/c wasn’t 70 as it was set to, it didn’t cool down until the second night after we told the front desk and just turned it down to 55 on the thermostat. There was mildew in the grout of the tub as you would expect from a motel 6 and not from a Dallas downtown hotel. After I informed the front desk of the a/c, we went out for dinner and I was never informed if it was fixed or working as it should be, which is why I just turned it down to 55. The hallway was colder than the room. Although “The Team” contacted me before my stay and made me feel assured we were staying at a luxury hotel.. it was just an average room, granted with a spectacular room. We will explore other options for our next anniversary but the Magnolia will still be on the list, however not at the top. Oh, and I had to eliminate a wasp in our room. Sucks to suck…
