Excellent welcome and comfortable stay
Super warm welcome - could not have done more for us which immediately made me feel important.
Excellent location for the centre but quiet since it is located away from the bars etc that were busy.
Can’t speak for how this is during university term time as we visited in the holidays but I got an excellent nights sleep & was not disturbed at all despite being a sunny Saturday evening!
Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Honest British Reviewer
Great hotel, great evening meal, would definitely stay here again. Staff friendly, parking is rubbish as the size of the car park is nonsense compared to the rooms.

Most of the staff gave the impression of not wanting to be there. Lovely property with potential. Chairs in both our room and in the bar in desperate need of replacing or a very good clean. Slow service in the bar, overpriced.

Directly across the road from Exeter Central Station. Very friendly staff. A floor-standing fan in the room that was very welcome. A good selection of hot & cold food at the buffet breakfast. Luggage storage before and after check-in/out.

Great hotel, close to shops & restaurants.
This is a great hotel within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was large and clean, had a large comfortable bed and a good bathroom. It was also very quiet which is a bonus! Staff were very friendly and informative. Parking was included for an extra charge. We will certainly stay there again when visiting Exeter!

Review of Hotel
Hotel was wonderful however parking was limited and was allocated on first come first serve basis. Hotel is in the heart of Exeter Town so I had to pay £19 to park in the Station Car Park. Something that I shouldn’t have had to do.

Okay, just dated and not the comfiest.
A short trip to Exeter. Hotel was generally okay and adequate, however hotel is dated. Bed and pillows weren’t the best. TV in room is very dated. enough if the only thing your doing is sleeping overnight night, but not one to spend the evening in your room etc. No specific complaints, just a very average/economy budget hotel but in a need for a refurb and modernisation

Nice hotel
Hotel was lovely and central. There was an anime convention on the weekend we were there, which we hadn't been informed about on check in, so we couldn't really spend time in the hotel, and kept getting asked for our pass to enter if we were out. We weren't informed about check out times or breakfast options at check in, and there was no complimentary water in the room. Other than that it was a nice hotel, room was clean and it was very central for exeter tiwn centre.

Hotel is fine. However, car parking is limited. We arrived, parked and paid for the parking. Went out later and could not park when we got back. Had to pay for parking elsewhere which knocked the gloss off.
