I booked this hotel on hotels.com. Later my brother-in-law decided to upgrade our hotel to another one for my birthday. On 9/15/25 I received an email about our stay at the Vagabond Inn. So, I went in and canceled it. However, on 9/20/25 I received a text notification alerting me that money had been taken from my account to pay for my stay at the Vagabond Inn!!!
I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to work this out with someone from hotels.com. In the end they told me that Vagabond Inn was not willing to refund me for my stay (even though I did NOT stay there), because they had no record of me canceling my reservation.
I'm totally disgusted and disappointed with the Vagabond Inn for not refunding my money, even though I never stayed at their hotel, and went online to cancel it.
I will never stay at this establishment again, and tell everyone I know NOT to stay here!!!
