Although the bed was very comfortable, nice and the room was quiet, there were other things that will ensure we won’t return for another stay.
We stayed in room 302.
There was neglect and dilapidation of parts in the bathroom. Rust and damage as well as a loose shower curtain bar in the shower and the grate covering the intake fan in the bathroom need to be tightened. We reported it to the front desk.
The “breakfast” at the Starbucks in the lobby was the deal breaker for us. There was 1 young man working and he seemed like he didn’t really want to be there. We think he was the only person working in the food area. Therefore the service was incredibly slow and the food was not very good. It was also expensive.
He kept leaving the front food area and going back into the kitchen. My husband and I had to leave and wanted to wrap up our food. My husband went to the kitchen door to knock and get the man’s attention to ask for a box. The front desk clerk at the front of the hotel saw this and screamed at my husband when he went to the kitchen door to knock and ask for a box. She literally screamed at him not to go back there. He was never planning to enter the kitchen, only trying to get the attention of the 1 staff member working so he could get a box for his food.
For as much as a one night stay costs, the least that can be done is have some breakfast items available for no cost.
We will not be returning.
