The place is under renovation and the room smells of paint. Hampton Inn undergoing some kind of switch to ‘Sparks’???. Not as advertised.

Don’t do it. It is not longer the Hampton Inn even though it says it is online. It is now “Spark” and is under renovation which also is not stated online. We got there; the pool was closed, the kids were very upset. The place was a dirty mess. There was only 1 gal working the desk at 6 pm on a Friday. Stood in line for 30 + minutes while she checked in a tour bus of tourists. We ended up walking out and getting rooms at the SpringHill Suites down the road. I called and requested a refund, she was nice and got that taken care of for me.

Absolutely terrible. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so expect to be sleeping in an active job site, in an area of town that is over run with transient people wandering the hotel parking lot all night long. Piles of drywall, trash, open and exposed junction boxes. Unsafe and a total mess. A absolute pit as of 4/2025 and wouldn’t recommend staying.

He have been loyal customers of Hampton Inn's for a couple of decades. I've never seen one of their properties in such run down condition. The carpet in our room was dirty and worn down to the point of seeing the concrete beneath in places. Furniture was 20+ years old, scuffed up, and gave us the feeling of staying in a dive hotel. TV was outdated with poor picture quality. When we checked in the desk person was very nice, but there was a creepy guy in a basketball jersey with low hanging jeans (looked like a gang member) sitting within 3 feet of us staring at us the whole time and made at least one comment about our transaction. He clearly knew the desk clerk because later we saw them both sitting out front on the curb under the driveway awning, with him and another shady character smoking. We couldn't get out of the property quick enough the next morning. Our past no worries selection of Hampton Inns is now a thing of the past. Will be very careful about checking reviews and location in the future.

Room was nice because it had just been remodeled. There were not enough outlets. Didnt see one by the bed until we pulled the table out. Barn door on the bathroom was a little different. Overall though, it was a nice room.

Renovating the top floors. Keeping the rest of the hotel full of debris and dust everywhere. Rooms outdated and filthy carpets. Smell horrible inside the room. Small tiny pillows so uncomfortable to sleep. All outlets for cell phone charge were not working inside the room. Area around hotel was not safe and just ugly.
