very good experience, it is good for the family stay, quiet, safe, easy shopping nearby and free parking, the only one unconvenience, far away from downtown, in a word, I will choose it again in the future.

Not our best personal choice.
Room, corridors and lobby clean. Conveniently just off 404.
BUT
Took 7 to 10 minutes at desk before one of two clerks acknowledged our presence. Then took another 7 to 10 to register even with my reservation.
As well, even though the reservation was prepaid through Expedia and non-refundable, I was required to place a $100.00 deposit on file with the hotel.
This deposit was not credited to my credit card account until I called the hotel 7 days after departure.
Went to the breakfast included dining room at 9:05am on the Monday of our stay to find it closed and were told that breakfast was to 10:00am ONLY on Sat. & Sun.
We were not informed of this on our registration Sunday evening.
The view from any room is either the highway, the parking lot, or of a very industrial area behind the hotel.
The parking lot is 90% pick-up trucks, vans, and other heavy vehicles.
Not family friendly in appearance. Hotel at the end of a road in a very industrial area.
P.S. No elevator. You have to climb 2 flights of stairs with your luggage if you are on the second floor.
No our own personal best choice.

The bed was rock hard, and the bedding was all wrinkled and looked like it hadn’t been changed in quite some time, I know they don’t always changed the top blanket as I used to work in a hotel. We were right at the end of the hall so could hear the door all night, the breakfast wasn’t very good. When I got there to check in had to wait 15 mins for the front desk clerk to actually come to check us in. Was just an overall bad experience and don’t think I would stay here again.

Great place to stay
The staff was amazing and very heplful. Only complaint was getting charged $25/night for my dog when housekeeping didn't do anything in our room thee two days we spent there. Thought $25 for the stay should be enough

Experience at the Comfort Inn
Other than my shower tub not cleaned for a couple of days and bed not made properly along with bed sheets not changes until my last day, all was well. I did give management my feedback.

The rooms were nice but they were NOT pet friendly
I made my reservations on line. I requested 2 rooms in a pet friendly hotel as my friend and I have a dog each. We had spent 2days and nights as victims of the ice storm. no sleep, freezing cold, hadn't eaten. We had to book in New Market as Barrie area was all full. My friend arrived at the hotel before me and checked in. Taking her dog in after she had been given the room key. When I arrived, I went in with my luggage and small dog on a leash. I told the clerk that I had a reservation and he noted that Have a pet and they had no rooms available. My question was "what do you mean, I have a reservation confirmed and paid for."
My friend had already texted me to tell me we were on the 2nd floor. After much discussion with the clerk that people with pets were not allowed on the 2nd floor I inquired what were 2 old ladies with pets that hadn't slept in two days etc. etc.supposed to do? He decided to let us stay. I was not given any instruction as to how to get to the room and no instructions as to where to find ice, bottled water, food etc. By the time I reached the room I was about ready to collapse after even one of the guests inquired if I could manage, seeing how I was struggling. I was stressed & exhausted and really needed consideration & help. Apparently there was no notification on the reservation that we had pets. both my friend & I are seniors with health conditions and we felt these were serious errors.
