The front desk clerk was super kind and efficient. I felt so bad for her being the only one to check in guests. We waited 45 minutes to check in because there were 6 people ahead of us. I don’t blame the woman at the front desk I am sure she is y responsible for the scheduling. She was very kind and apologetic.

Enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn in Guelph for the 5 nights. What we found lacking was that there was only 1 chair to sit on when er were in the room. A second chair would have made our stay more comfortable. All other aspects, i.e. room cleanliness and breakfast were all top notch. As well, I appreciated the addition of an exercise room added to your facility

Never again!

The hotel was under renovations - that was not mentioned until after I booked. Getting to the room meant going outside the building to the other entrance. Very inconvenient as the weather was very cold. The breakfast was in bags and the cold sandwiches were distasteful. The rooms had one chair. People need a chair to sit on as beds not great for sitting on. During our stay we were subject to harassment from other guests who were drunk and were sitting in the corridor being loud and obnoxious until about 1:30 or 2:00 am. Not acceptable for other patrons. The person on the night desk was also challenged and harassed. We should not have been put on the same floor as a group like that. People should be made aware of things when booking. Staff was very good and professional but unfortunately we had no sleep. We had driven for four hours to attend a funeral and were tired both emotionally and physically. Of course the next day we had another long drive home on very little sleep. The morning we were checking out the group’s kids were playing full-blown hockey in the corridor and we endured insults as we passed them. We were left with a bad taste in our mouths due to our stay at this hotel.

Stayed for two nights in room 101. First night was fine. The room was spacious and well appointed. Woke up this morning to ants crawling all over the floor and dragging a worm/larvae under the carpet next to the bed. Called the front desk and was told they would send maintenance, to which I refused and advised that we would be changing rooms. A new room was provided. When getting the new room key, the "manager" Eunice was shown the video and proceeded to tell us it was food that was dropped. She then decided to show her friend who was visiting who agreed. I've included video and pictures. See for yourself and then decide if you want to stay here. Personally, if you want to wake up with a stiff back and then get trash talked by someone who is clearly a few ingredients short of a salad, you'll pick someone where else.

Property doesn't indicate anything is wrong until you book. Once booked with nonrefundable option, they warn you that the gym, lobby, any every common space is closed for construction. They give you breakfast in a bag. No dietary options. No options for alternatives, refunds, or discounts. It's also quite dirty in the hotel beyond construction dirt.

It was good, property under construction so front door is not available and no breakfast area. You are given a bag with a muffin, yogurt, fruit and drink box. Option to have a breakfest sandwich to microwave in your room. Staff were very nice and room was clean except some sand around the drain in shower.
