We stayed here while moving my son into college, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. My husband arrived to check in around 4:30, but was told he couldn’t because I booked through Hotels.com and had to be there in person. I even spoke directly with the front desk and asked if I could send a picture of my ID and credit card to verify, since I was still tied up with the move, but they refused. My husband ended up waiting in the lobby for two hours until I arrived at 6:30.
When I finally got there, they told me our room still wasn’t ready. Other guests were also waiting, so it’s clear the hotel is extremely short-staffed, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of accommodation or communication. It felt like they used that as an excuse not to let my husband check in earlier.
After this experience, we won’t be staying here again.
