Great place and area to stay.

Stayed 2 nights pre cruise, great place next to terminal easy walk. Nice view and area with lots of things to explore. Evening dinning and bar very casual and relaxing. Gluten free food catered for. $35 ride share from Airport to the hotel good also. Will stay there again.

Fantastic location, but a bit old-fashioned

The hotel's location in the Rocks is excellent and very close to the bridge as well as a short walk to the Opera House and Circular Quay with its ferries and trains. We were lucky in that there were no large cruise ships in port during our stay which meant that we had incredible views of the Opera House from our 6th floor window (the cruise terminal sits between teh hotel and the OH so suspect that some large ships may impede the view). The Pool area is a welcome facility on a hot day even though the Spa was not working. The hotel shows its age and there are for example some torn or worn patched of carpet that have been patched up with tape. The hotel and the furnishings feels old-fashioned and in need of modernisation. The breakfast offering is very disappointing in terms of both quality and range. Reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful however.

While the rooms are a bit dated, the hotel is situated perfectly for a Sydney stay. The staff were fabulous- service was above & beyond expectations. Breakfast was good & had a good variety. Couldn’t fault our stay and will definitely stay there again.

We stayed for 6 nights before a cruise. Great location, we could walk to the ship, lots of places to eat, shop at, and transit options within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything about the hotel was perfect and had a great upper floor with views of the opera house and the location couldn’t be any better. I’m staying there next time for sure.

Not up to par

This hotel is not worth the price. The only thing positive about our experience is the location. It is only a short walk to the cruise port. The restaurant was not open on the day that we were there. When we asked reception about restaurants, we were told that we could walk on the street to find one. The room and the lobby are as different as night and day. The lobby is attractive and modern. The room was old, barely furnished and ugly. It was furnished only with a TV. bed, a desk and two old night tables with nothing on them, not even a lamp or clock. The TV didn't work. The repairman promptly fixed it. Unfortunately, the TV was no longer working the next morning. The only reason that we didn't find another hotel is that we were very tired when we arrived and would board our cruise ship the next day. There is no way that we would have longer than that one night,

Amazing views

Sydney sky Harbor had a very great location. The views for our room were stunning. The views from the rooftop pool were amazing. Getting to the hotel was a bit more difficult than anticipated because of the location on a hill, but once we arrived climbing uphill with very large suitcases in the pouring rain was worth it when we got to take a breath and look out and see the stunning Sydney Harbour. The room itself was very basic and on the older side, but had amenities that made it comfortable and great for a good nights rest as a transitionary place. Only stayed one night, but would happily stay here again.
