The overall hotel was nice, step above a motel 8 in that regards. No offensive smells when you walk in or walk through the halls. Breakfast was as you expect for a small hotel; fruit, toast, and waffle maker. The beds themselves were comfortable, and the AC worked well. Friendly staff.
Cons however; the bathroom was not cleaned well. Hair on the walls of the shower that definitely did not belong to me or my partner. And some boogers (???) on the wall by the toilet and the back of the door.
Another concern was the lack of tornado shelter/fire escape route, and the staff not knowing. We had some very iffy weather with the tornado sirens going off. There was nothing in the room that showed a tornado shelter or fire escape. I went down to the front desk to ask where the tornado shelter is, and she also had no idea. Luckily it was just damaging wind and nothing any more serious.
Overall decent stay, but probably won’t stay again.
