Room was really small. Bathroom so small you have to get all the way in before you can shut door. Elevators really slow. Bathroom sink water barely runs. Ac worked sometimes. Room

Pleasantly surprised
We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Galveston. The front desk, pool, cleaning staff were all great. Very friendly and fast service. The only bad service we received was when we tried to stop by the 5400 bistro for breakfast we ended up leaving after sitting for 15 minutes with no service. The room was really nice, clean and spacious. The sofa-bed bed was not comfortable but our 6 and 2 year old still slept there even though during the day they were on our bed. The king mattress was good but the pillows were way too soft. Your head sinks in. If that's your preference then great. I'll still stay here and just bring my own pillows. Overall my 6 year old gave it a 4.5 out of 5 stars and I agree. Great for a weekend with your special someone and great for a weekend with your family.

The hotel was clean and update. The hotel seemed Severely UNDER STAFFED. We had to call several times to get towels or anything. The breakfast took forever to get severed

Instead of Hilton - Stay With Milton
Overpriced. You can get the same amenities at super 8 or Days inn for hundreds less. Here are the pros and cons in my opinion:
Pros- awesome pool that is heated, very comfortable bed and pillows, his and her robes are a nice touch. Very friendly staff that is helpful awesome service.
Cons - only one microwave out of 6 floors and it is on the first floor so essentially the entire hotel has to share one microwave.
There is no continental breakfast - breakfast is not free you have to pay for it and it is not cheap.
You have to pay extra to park there is no free parking.
Hot tub was filthy and had to be cleaned it was not even usable not sure why.
Confusing internet - to get free internet you have to sign up to receive emails and flyers and so forth whether you want to be a Hilton honors member or not.
To me the cons outweighed the pros but you be the judge.

Angry manager
The hotel itself was a great location. The manager of the hotel Peggy was always stressed out and always in a bad mood. We had no towels the first night or a shower cap we had to call down and get them. They were never brought up I had to go down and get them the second day. Housekeeping did not enter our room and we made it a point to go down and let them know we were leaving the day, and to please make sure that the room was clean and had towels. Got back to the room the room had not been cleaned did not have towels had to call down again. Finally they came up and cleaned the room we had to leave and go down stairs while they were cleaning. The charging station in the lights on the right side of the bed did not work I called in also reported that the first night was not fixed the first or the second night on the third day it was fixed that was our last day. Peggy it said that she was going to deduct some of our expenses because we rented a cabana which was $250 and even though our breakfast was prepaid we still owed for the breakfast I guess if you prepay and you go over whatever amount you prepay you owe the difference. She was supposed to deduct that off as well to fix all our problems that we had but that was never taken off our bill. The only one that I can give a 10 star to is the young man that helped us with our luggage and that Valet Parked our car his name is Grayson. Grayson was wonderful!
