Convenient place to crash for the night

We were just passing through so just looking for a bed to stay in. Just wanted something clean, safe, and affordable. Price was reasonable and area seemed very safe. Overall, it was clean. Beds seemed clean, bathroom seemed clean, no signs of pests. But for some reason there was Cheetos all over the floor and chair that was in the room. It literally looked like someone cleaned the room, then used it for a Cheeto break. Also, one of the beds was on some kind of aluminum frame that made an aluminum pop noise every time you moved. First time we sat on the bed, scared us!! So that was kind of obnoxious. We didn’t join breakfast, it was available but didn’t seem like anything to rave about.

My fault for not going refundable

Due to flooding and tornadoes I was unable to travel. Yes, I know I should have made sure my hotel was refundable, and that is my oversight. I do believe under the conditions the hotel could have offered to let me change my booking date, it would have cost them nothing and they would have gained a loyal customer. Again, I understand that it’s policy, but there are times when exceptions can be made, especially when travel conditions are unsafe. Lesson learned to make sure I use a hotel that will also for date changes and/or refundable.

Smoky start

We were checked in and sent to our 2nd floor room. NO ELEVATORS, and since we were travelling thru on a 2 week vacation we had heavy suitcases. Upon entering our room with no smoking sign, we were gagged by the smoky smell. When we called to the front desk they said it shouldn’t smell like smoke. I asked them to come smell. They called back & said we could switch but should come to front desk to exchange keys. Down the stars and up again!!!!!! Thankfully the assistant came and carried our bags as she saw us struggling. We learned that 1/2 of our building was smoking thus the smell drifted thru. Not OK

The toilet was broken, the room had flies. The parking area has huge holes in the concrete. It was a horrible experience overall. The only good thing is the location.

Needs to be updated!

I would not return to this hotel, the photos are misleading. Needs to be updated especially for the price per night. I called ahead to check if we could arrive early i was told between 2:30pm and 3pm is fine( check in time was 3pm) We got there at 2:30pm and was told we could not check in until 3pm. It was very annoying because i had just spoke with her on the phone. The room is way over priced. I dont believe fresh linens were put on our bed before arrival so we didnt sleep well at all. We tried to stay out as much as we could. Definitely not returning.

Couldn’t stay the night.

We did not stay the night. There was a lot of noise and partying in the parking lot and we did not feel safe. They did offer us another room but there was no point it was just too many people. So unfortunately we paid for a room we were not able to stay in so just be cautious.
