When I checked in, the front desk asked for my ID, which is standard and expected. However, I was surprised when they also insisted on seeing my wife's ID before issuing a second room key, even though I explained she was in the car taking care of our baby. This is the first time I've encountered a hotel requiring ID for a second adult guest in order to provide an additional key.
We stayed for two nights as a family, but the room was not cleaned at all during our stay. We were also provided with insufficient towels for two adults, and I noticed dead bugs in the room, suggesting it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Additionally, a tile at the entrance to the bathroom was loose and made a loud creaking noise, as if it might break under pressure.
They had a morning breakfast, but I did not eat. I made the booking through Hotels.com. Giving free breakfast was not mentioned when i booked.
Overall, I expected better cleanliness and service for a multi-night family stay.
