Loved the decoration of room and facility. Loved that they had games all around facility for kids to play and making your own s’more… excellent idea. 👍 Wish the price of room was not too high. ☹️

Cuyama is one of those towns in the Middle of Nowhere, Ca that is the perfect place to unplug and escape the hustle to experience slow living. The property is the only hotel, restaurant and bar in the town and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Can’t wait to go back 💖

Five star weekend

The buckhorn is an amazing spot to enjoy some quiet time and relax. The whole place is great and having the restaurant and bar on site make for a really low key stay. We always end up meeting great people and having a blast when we visit. It’s like a little piece of Palm Spring but with a western flair and without all of the heat. The food in the restaurant is absolutely top notch and so is the service. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. We will be back again and again. I would suggest it for anyone. Five stars

Fun experience but overpriced for the location. Spent plenty of money on food and drink in addition to room rate. They should lower the room rate and make it more affordable in shoulder season to attract more business.

Perfect retreat

What a wonderful hotel. The room was very comfy with great shower and all the facilities needed. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, with a fantastic pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The restaurant was excellent especially the service, such a lovely woman looked after us. An amazing place to stay

Overpriced and understaffed. Dinners a disaster as food comes in shifts so half the party finished before others received their meals. Would have been happier camping. Shame on Michelin.
