Minimal breakfast options. Hotel and room are in need of an update. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT using the elevator at the back of the hotel. The key/arrow pad was sunken into the wall which looked sketchy to begin with and should’ve been my sign to take the stairs. When we stepped onto the elevator to go to floor 2, the elevator went up just a bit and dropped sharply. Granted, we were on the first floor when we got on and there were not any lower levels to drop to (or none that I can recall but considering the event that occurred, there could’ve been an elephant in there with my son and I and I would’ve still been near cardiac arrest due to the sharp and sudden drop alone). When we arrived to the second floor and to our room with soft spots on the below average clean floors and dinged up walls severely in need of a fresh coat of paint (or a demolition crew to take the hotel all the way back to its factory settings I was eventually able to rest without any loud noises which was a positive. The bed and pillows were satisfactory and there was also a large refrigerator (no freezer inside it) and a microwave available in the room which came in useful. The online check-in, upload your ID, and secure an incidental payment in advance process was a waste of time as we still had to spend time waiting in line while only one staff checked at least 10 other people in. You can’t just walk up and request your key as implied in the email sent out prior to arrival.
