The overall stay was quite good — the room was clean and comfortable. However, there were a few things that could be improved. Firstly, there was no fridge in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. At breakfast, there was also no cold or even room-temperature milk available for cereal, which limited options for guests who prefer cereal in the morning. Additionally, the chef responsible for the noodle station didn’t seem very enthusiastic about his work. He repeatedly asked guests to restate their orders, which made the process somewhat frustrating. Perhaps implementing a simple numbering system for the noodle options could help both the staff and guests communicate more efficiently. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, but a few small improvements could make the experience noticeably better for future guests.

2/10 欠佳

There are 3 untrue information on the hotel description including map location, nearby, and getting around. When I found out the hotel is not located at Xuhui and cannot get there by metro, I asked to cancel and refund, but cannot get refund. It is luck for us to find out the errors early and get into trouble at night with luggage.

2/10 欠佳

The wrong location was shown on the link of google map. In spite of It is not walking accessible hotel, but the information is not correct as 7 minutes from metro station. This is first case after I traveled with Expedia from 2014, more than 30 nights stay. Further worth, I contacted several times about this and report cancel due to unable access, but no contact and explanation is done as of today, holiday inn group has more than 10 hotel in Shanghai and the data on Expedia is incredible. Booking through Expedia is not commendable but Holiday inn official site. Holiday inn and Expedia need quick reply to me.
