The hotel needs some updates and the elevator is STILL broken. I had seen it was broken from reviews a month ago, but assumed it would be fixed. It was not! The hotels in this area are mainly catering to truck drivers and tourists just passing through. It's not ideal for business travel.

Honestly, a little rough for a Fairfield Inn. Grounds covered with weeds, no AC in the hallways, smell of chlorine in the lobby.

Great stay

The Fairfield Inn & Suites, Knoxville East was very good. The staff was really helpful and kind. Although there was some work being done on the hotel, the staff was very aware of the people staying and very safe. The rooms were very clean and neat. The room was comfortable and the beds good. Overall, our stay was excellent.

The room had the beginnings of sheet rock repair, that needed to be finished. The hall carpets were stained in several places and the elevator needs a lot of work.

Night in Knoxville

Was our bad timing to arrive as the lobby was being re-tiled, the elevator out of service, and the fitness center closed (for the re-tiling). We stayed on the first floor and our visit was fine; nice breakfast. When we reported a bulb out, front desk provided a new one. Nice comfortable bed

We were on 3rd floor because I asked for the quietest room possible. The toilet ran all night. We kept the bathroom door closed to lessen the sound. There were a few holes in the drywall and the corner had missing drywall. The beds & bathroom were clean and we were exhausted at nearly midnight when we checked in. We were too tired to ask for a different room. Breakfast was extremely basic, but included so you can’t beat it. sausage links were the only meat and too over cooked to eat. They did have a couple cold cereal options and a make your own waffle station. The staff member at the desk when we checked it was very welcoming and extremely nice.

Just average hotel. Breakfast was convenient and good. There was plenty of hotel water. Room had some water damaged ceiling. Window in room was dirty and probably needed to be resealed. Bed was comfortable.

A real dump …upgrades taking place all over the building …trash out the back view…really poor condition. Website should read something to effect of major renovations taking place.
