Short stay, nice room and excellent service.

We got one of the last rooms on short notice and arrived after midnight. We have stayed here more than 10 times. Room turned out to be very nice. A little bit lack of lamps but in the morning the sunlight was enough. Huge breakfast as always. Staff at check-in very helpful and service minded.

Horrible guest service

No towels in the room for two days and when i repeatedly asked the reception for towels the reply was that the housekeeping left for the day and i couldn’t have any towels. You are better off staying at another property where they care about their guests.

Hotel in need of refresh...

Our stay started fine, quick and pleasant check-in. When we arrived at our family room (in the old building) the room felt like it had not had fresh air for several months and was very warm and stuffy. We opened all of the window and changed the thermostat to 20°c instead of the 25°c. The room was very worn out and sad. The bed sofa was very not in good shape. Their was no interior design at all. The floor was very worn. It was such a beautiful old room that very little would be needed to make it amazing. When we returned after a walk the room seemed ok and we closed the windows. But not long after we noticed the the AC did not function at all. So we changed room. This time in the new section of the hotel. One of the lifts was broken. The room at least had working AC. But was very worn out as well. There where no towels in the room, so another trip to reception was needed to get some. Then when the girls were showered and ready for bed we noticed there where no sheets or covers on the sofa bed. Yet another trip down to the reception... only to be told that the man at the desk was the only staff member working and another would arrive in 20 minutes and then they could fix the bed. 30 minutes later a guy did turn up and fix it. Quite amazing that there was only one member of staff on a Friday evening. The breakfast was fine, Basic Swedish hotel food, scrambled eggs bacon etc... yawn... This hotel needs a refresh. How it has such a high rating is a mystery.

The place was lovely, with fun vibes and decor. The staff (we only saw females until the morning of our departure) was friendly and helpful, not making us feel rushed or silly for some of our questions. The room change was appreciated when they couldn't solve the lighting problem same-day. Breakfast was great on the weekend but a little less during the week and it was challenging to find regular milk (oat milk and lactose free available).

Fantastisk personale på hotellet - de er virkelig søde, smilende og imødekommende! Det virker til, at deres arbejdsmiljø er godt og det smitter af på stemningen! Værelset var fint - der er virkelig god bruser og sjældent vi har prøvet at en bruser på hotellet har så god styrke! Så det var vi meget begejstret for! Vi var dog skuffede over kvaliteten af sengene. Ingen af os sov særlig godt og vågnede mange gange om natten. Jeg er gravid og fik ondt alle steder - selvom personalet var virkelig søde og gav os ekstra puder. Min kæreste oplevede samme gener som jeg. Værelset var for koldt til vores smag - også selvom vi skruede op på max temperatur. Ventilationen fik gardinerne til at blæse frem og tilbage. Værelserne var fine og moderne og der var dejlig plads til os begge to. Morgenmaden var super fin. Noget for alle - dejligt med smoothies - de smagte så godt! Dejlig rent i spiserummet og igen personale der pænt hilser og siger godmorgen, når man ankommer. Hotellet har skøn beliggenhed! Dejlig stille om aftenen og dejlig tæt på centralstationen! Alt i alt et rigtig fint ophold med et par ting der kunne have været bedre :-)

Vi var afsted mormor, mor og datter på en weekentur ned en overnatning på hotellet. Ville ønske vi skulle være der i flere dage. Der var rent og pænt i værelset og fællesarealer. Morgenmadsbufeen var lækker. Personalet var søde. Et godt sted for børnefamilier med legetøj i lobbyen Ligger kun nogle minutters gågang fra gamla staden og lilla torg. Vil helt klart anbefale.
