Bad experience
Page shows daily cleaning,But the receptionist said no. The room has no Windows. Very depressing. But there is no explanation on the page .Only half the shampoo.

Great place with minor attention needed
Loo needs scrub brush. Perhaps dish I will be back later in the year. To stay. Rooms hold their heat well. Even with a heat pump on cold.. I'll stay I different room next time being next to the staff pantry was a bit on the loud side. Good value for money

Would stay again!
Great stay again. Spacious rooms. Bathroom shower grout was looking a bit mouldy, might need to get a magic sponge :-)

Free Parking?
When I booked on here there was a note on the booking to say silver status gets free parking but I was charged at the Hotel and was told it was only for VIP people. Can you please explain as it was misleading and the cost was unexpected.

Lovely external room
Loved it, was pleasantly surprised ay how good it was, External rooms are good internal rooms have no windie but still nice.

Oaks
The restaurant and breakfast were really good with a great selection.
The room was a bit small.
The staff were great.
As mentioned on other reviews there are tramps outside, they do not bother you but not a great first impression. Wellington has a whole seems to have problems with tramps and undesirable people shouting in the street, I am afraid to say the worst NZ place we have visited. It is a fantastic country though.

No parking available due to my car size for my first night. Was then given conflicted information, the agent at the desk the next morning said that with Expedia related bookings you need to call ahead to reserve a parking spot, when I asked if I could reserve the spot of the next SUV leaving I was told it was first come first serve. I stated this conflicting information and the desk agent reserved me a space

The reception staff were so friendly, I think her name was Stella, I had asked for something special for our anniversary and we walked in to two beautiful towel swans. Lovely service, and felt safe with night staff on.

OK stay for three nights. I had asked for a slightly earlier check in of 1.00pm rather than 2.00pm on medical grounds. I understand that this is not guaranteed but on arrival we were asked to wait 15 minutes for the room. I thank them for this but find it strange that there were no rooms ready by 1.00pm when they would all have been available an hour later. The house staff were working hard and long hours cheerfully while we were there so I don't think they were the issue. Its seems to be more at a front desk or management issue.
