I reserved this hotel for my husband one night at Washington DC. He arrived at DC little after 10:00pm, he was at the hotel around 11:00pm. At check in, he was told the room he will be in doesn’t have an AC, he is welcomed to cancelled his reservation, and he has to call Expedia/ Hotel.com to get his money back. He asked since it is 11:00pm and it will be hard for him to get another hotel at that time, if he can get a discount, the staff brush him off and told him to call Expedia/ hotel.com.
This is unacceptable, they knew he is new in town, and it is hard to get another hotel at that time. Very disappointed about the overall experience.
