If you’ve had a good experience at a Royalton property before that doesn’t mean the same is true for this location. While Grenada offers great views, pretty beaches and kind people; our stay at this Royalton was not ideal. We first arrived there were several food items that were not available as well as no wash cloths. There were inconsistencies with the advertised times for the pool and when the pool was actually done being cleaned, we had no housekeeping for the first 3 days of our stay, a false alarm in the middle of the night and reduced AC in the evening were just a few of the negative experiences we had. When I shared with our butlers I was met with excuses. They did their best to improve the air for our last night and it was much better but by that point our vacation was over.

Worth it

Overall, it was a good experience! This was my first all inclusive and I’m not a fan of it, but that’s just my preference. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The resort is on the water so it’s very convenient. There are bars, cabanas, and activities to do on the campus. My highlight was a private tour I booked with Curtis Monroe. It was wonderful, we did sightseeing through the rainforest to the waterfall. All in all,I’d recommend this to anyone who enjoys all inclusive. It was a safe, friendly, peaceful, and laidback environment.

When we first arrived the butler we were assigned to was rude and said he was overwhelmed because he couldn’t handle taking our bags to where our rooms were located even though we were a group of 7 people and we literally followed him and carried our own bag to our rooms. He said room service menu was open 24/7 so we ordered room service @11pm that night since our flight was delayed and we never got our food and no one followed up with it. Our hotel rooms had stained sheets and pillow cases, there was a huge black stain on the floor, the rooms smelled horrible, and we had to ask them to clean our room twice the next day. They left a beach bag in the room that was already used and stained with ketchup and they had to replace it. When we went to book massages, again they couldn’t handle booking 7 people at a time so they messed up the times then promised us we have to arrive an hour early for hydrotherapy (which is a pool of water jets that are supposed to open up the muscles before the massage is done), but there is no hydrotherapy at this Royalton resort! We wasted an hour literally going into the steam room and sauna room for 10 minutes each then waited about 40 minutes until someone came to get all of us for the massage. We went to Royalton in Cancun, Mexico and the resort not only was much bigger, but it was cleaner, it had more amenities, and the staff was more pleasant. Do an excursion outside this resort, it’s way better! I’m never coming back to Royalton Grenada again

The property is very nice and clean. Staff service is a bit inconsistent — some are super friendly and efficient, while others are quite slow, making it feel like they’re not in a hurry to help. No one was rude, but at times it took a long while to get a drink or be served. The food is not great, but not terrible either. You won’t go hungry, though the variety is quite limited. The French restaurant, Italian restaurant, and lunch buffet were the best options. The coffee shop staff stood out — always welcoming with big smiles. Tip: make sure to bring bug spray with you.

I really enjoyed the spot of the reservation as it was right next to the airport and there were taxes right outside that would take you places. It was safe and clean. I had a great time there, the only issue was the buffet food was not that great but it is all inclusive. The staff were extremely nice! I would go again.

Right next to the airport. Bumpy ride to get into town. Need more food options. Barista staff were new and all drinks tasted the same. Check in took nearly two hours. Only 1 buggy to get around from main building to the diamond club.
