Ok but needs some updates!

Service was awesome- pillows were uncomfortable no matter how many you stacked up, breakfast was ok but free;) and the noise coming thru the closed windows was loud - windows need replaced. Also barn doors on bathrooms had no stop so you could see thru cracks of door and pinched hands in door. Otherwise ok place to stay.

Good comfort, location, cost, but bad door

Decent balance of comfort, location, and cost. Breakfast was delicious and robust with offerings. Pool actually did not smell overly of chlorine. However, the pool could be warmer during the colder days, and the door to the bathroom did not close fully. We had a problem with the tv remote and had to make several trips down to the front desk to try to get it replaced, but they truly attempted to help us, and we did get it resolved. The room seemed aged a bit, but we would definitely stay there again provided we did not get a room with a bum bathroom door.

Fabulous as always

We had previously stayed at the Hampton Inn in Irondequoit and the Greece location was just as nice, if not better. We were greeted by a kind and friendly host. The room was clean, although it did have a slight musty odour and the staff had not emptied the garbage bin in the main room. That is my only complaint. Breakfast was bountiful with a decent assortment of fresh, hot items.

Our stay

The staff at the front desk when we checked in wasn’t good. She had to sign into her computer, which took awhile. Our key card to get into the room didn’t work, when my wife went to get it fixed, she gave my wife attitude. There was no shampoo or body lotion in the room. I went to ask for new ones on the way out for dinner and she took my name and room number down and looked confused and never got it, had to wait til the next day to get new ones

Friend getaway

Everything was very good except the outside area was full of garbage at side entrance. We just had a few feet of snow so I am hoping it was just an oversight as the snow melted Breakfast was excellent. Love Hampton waffles!

Disappointing Experience, will not be back

It took 30 minutes to check in because both guests in front of me were having issues. The supposed contactless check in online service did not work. There was no manager on duty to deal with issues so the person running the desk had to deal with multiple issues on her own. Our room itself was fine, but the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. Isn’t that the point of housekeeping to check these things? I also thought they were supposed to replace toilet papers with fresh rolls for new guests, but apparently not. I picked this hotel as an experience gift for my son for his Birthday, because it was on my desired area and had a pool. The pool was very murky and smelled terrible, so we decided to skip it. I logged into my Netflix to watch a movie and it kept logging me out and displaying “Welcome” messages from the Hotel. We debated leaving soon after we checked in, due to just feeling uneasy and unsafe, but decided to stick it out because I would not be able to get a refund. Very disappointing experience.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The staff could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Even our Door Dash delivery men were very nice, friendly and efficient. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact there was no pen or paper in the room, no Bible, phone book, information binder or TV guide. I also did not receive the wake-up call I attempted to request. Thank goodness my husband called from home to make sure I was awake in time for my appointment. Those are just little things that make a stay that much more convenient and don't cost a lot. I was also a little disappointed that there were no vending machines on our floor. We had to go to the lobby if we wanted a snack or beverage, which selection was very limited. I would stay there again because of the staff and the location. I didn't get to enjoy the pool or breakfast unfortunately, but both looked wonderful. Maybe next time.
