Hmmm, the huge amount of 5 star reviews have been given by Spa-day people. If you look at the hotel guest reviews, you’ll see a different theme appear.
The roof top with the pool is second to none. A saving grace for the hotel and they know it.
They take each payment as you order.
For ease, guests should be able to have tabs as is customary to settle at the end of each stay should they wish.
The owner has clearly cut corners on staff, which has put them all under pressure to do the jobs of two or three people.
The breakfast was nice but a little old fashioned and under performing considering the supposed stature of the hotel.
The carpet needs to be relaid in the dining room.
There are 5 star features, however, there are very easy parts of the service that can be fixed.
We didn’t leave Athens… we simply left and found another hotel.
Katrina at guest services and Panagiota on the roof top have saved this review from being catastrophic.
I’m sure there will be a response from the manager or some decision maker under this review with the customary blah blah blah response, however, perhaps, instead of responding to my review, you had better call a meeting and ask how you can serve your own staff better so that they feel more supported in their jobs.
