I had a bad first impression upon my arrival, as the front desk did not let me check-in two hours in advance (with a not full hotel), after 30h traveling without sleep. Anyway, Amberlyn (the manager) tried her best to make it up for me after it came to her knowledge and I even got a late check-out. As for the hotel, the Omni has one of the best common areas of hotels in Houston (very nice pool and gym)! On the other hand, the rooms are outdated. They are spacious and comfortable, but everything looks so old. Several hotels are switching to walk in showers (replacing bathtubs). The furniture is also very old. So, all and all, a good options, that can turn to a great one with some remodeling. Cheers
