Disappointing Galveston stay

Checking in was awful. They surprise guests with a $15 per night parking fee. I became ill after first night and we checked out on Sunday morning at 6:30 (which included ringing a doorbell to get someone to come to the front). Received an email on Sunday asking if we wanted to check out online - did they not check it me out of room when I handed my door keys to them? Will never stay at this property again.

Not to wyndham brand expectations

The door handle was falling apart and made opening the door difficult, a staff member tried saw me having issues and insinuated i didnt know how to open a door and tried to show me how to open it. There was a visable stain on one of the sheets that i didnt even unmake the beds and a used bar of soap was left in the shower. The room was definitely not soundproof as i heard the guests in the rooms next door and outside. The lamps and hair dryer were rusted, soap scum on sink and shower faucets and the showerhead. Mold spotted areas of the ceiling and a nice film of dirt around baseboards and curtain was falling apart.

It was horrible it had roaches n bed bugs n they didn’t want to refund my money we called the police n they even said they were reporting them to be shut down. goggle them on you can see where another family was there n the manager tried to slap a lady’’…BAD BUSINESS

They Committed fraud and discrimination!

It was the worst experience of our lives! We stayed there because it said by Wyndham. They are usually clean and friendly not here. fraud!. We were lied too, put in a room where the equipment and the bathroom tub didn’t work properly and filthy!! We had to leave by 9:30 after finding a Suoer8 and was great. We had to cancel our card to not pay and didn’t answer their phone. Worst ever!I have videos not photos.

Had hidden charges. Pool was green. No blankets in the room. Customer service was very rude. Water didn’t work on the shower at the pool. Dead birds laying around.

The room that I was in was a two room suite. Both TV's were unable to connect to wifi. There was an overwhelming amount of dust everywhere , on the drapes, the ceilings, packed in to vents, the smoke detector, etc.There were several areas with stains on walls and the baseboards were filthy never been wiped . The door has all of the handprints of anyone that has ever stayed I the room. There is MOLD! There is rust on light fixtures and all along the property. Would not recommend that anyone stays here and the health dep[artment should probably give them a visit.

Poor stay

Pillows are flat, rooms are dilapidated, roaches roaming, just an overall poor hotel. We walked in and did not get greeted for over 15 min even though they had multiple people helping 1 person. They could not even say we will be with you in a minute, they just looked at us and kept working on some kind of charge error they had made.

Never again.

The property looked alright from the outside and in the check in area. Our check-in took quite awhile due to it being exactly at the check-in time. During check-in I witnessed the staff being super rude to guest. After we got to our room, it looked efficient until I noticed there were only sheets on the beds. I had to go back to the front desk to ask for a comforter. The bed was comfortable and the mattress was clean. The bathroom on the other hand was gross. There was a brown smear on the wall behind the door, blood spatter on the door, and numerous other spots. I didn’t notice it until we were getting ready to shower. Our room came with only one towel… no wash cloths or soap. Luckily, we were staying there board a cruise ship the next day so we were prepared. My last complaint is the $15 parking fee that I didn’t know anything about or remember hearing about. I noticed a lot of other customers commenting about the parking fee, as well. I will be avoiding this hotel on my next cruise trip to Galveston.

Great location bad rooms

See first of all we went to check into our room the bed had hair on it. It was dirty. There was an open bar as soap from the last person that stayed in there. There was hardly no towels. The bed cover in the sheets were dirty. there was a big hole in the bed or a mattress that was so uncomfortable but the clerk tried to make our statement more comfortable with offering us a different room but it’s not what we needed so we just ended up cleaning our room ourselves. The bathtub didn’t drain. The breakfast was not good at all. If I could’ve cancelled my reservations and went somewhere else I would have but we were right there already. It was 2 o’clock in the morning at 1 o’clock in the morning and it was right next to the beach and the refrigerator was leaking water but on the up note the clerk Marcus was really great trying to fix our problems that we were having.

Do not book here!

This trip was for my 4th anniversary vacation. The "motel" was terribly misrepresented. Completely run down and unmaintained. There were doors wide open for days. The staff seemed nice enough, but incredibly overwhelmed. The first room they sent us to didn't have any towels or amenities stocked, didn't seem to be cleaned at all. The second room was about the same, but hey, if I had been able to cancel and leave then and there, I would have.

Not worth the money.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was disgusting. When getting into bed we found someone else’s belongings as the sheets hadn’t been changed. We paid for a king suite and it was absolutely gross. The vents/outlets look like they’ve never been cleaned and the shampoo/conditioner bottles were left empty.
