Too Small Room in Uninviting Location

We did a 16 day Ring Road tour of Iceland and this was the last of 10 hotels we stayed in. We were happy with every other hotel we stayed in. This room was too small for comfort. The bathroom was tiny; using the shower flooded the entire bathroom floor. It is located in an industrial area with neither pleasant views nor useful services nearby. While the room itself was clean, the mugs for tea/coffee were not. They advertised a hot tub, but an email we received a couple days before check-in announced that if we wanted to use it there would be a 25 euro upcharge.

Accommodating motel

Quick stay for us — good space and shared kitchen area, they made breakfast for us for a fee which we appreciated so we could focus on our vacation. I was surprised there wasn’t a tv on the room. Shower doors took some effort to figure out how to use.

Not the best.

This is not a hotel in the usual sense. Rooms are very small and sparse. No grocery store that we can see. Only one small restaurant nearby. Too simple for my tastes. Would never stay here again. Overpriced.

Liked the community kitchen… great for eating take out as a family.. the room was nice… beds cozy and parking was spacious and readily available…. Poor communication on how to take advantage of the paid breakfast also appeared to have a hot tub but not filled or open… tried to get our room made after the first night but not certain how to make that happen. The local restaurant called Kim Yongs wings was great for takeout and the owner was very personable

Good Place to Stay

Small room with a comfortable bed. Tiny market across the street was convenient but minimal. Only one restaurant in the area, but it was very good. Wish this place offered a little more extras, like breakfast and more than just one roll of toilet paper. The location was great. It was close to the airport and easy to get to Reykjavik, too. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe.

A great place for a quick stop off close to the airport. This isn’t a hotel in the traditional sense but a well maintained rooms and good service. Not much in the area so having a car is a good idea. Thank you for an easy hassle free stay.

Auf den ersten Blick war alles sauber, aber vielleicht auch mal Staub putzen, auch unter dem Bett. Unser Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung gequietscht und es wat super hellhörig. Über uns war es unfassbar laut, wir haben kaum geschlafen. Es wurde was von Pool geschrieben aber wo dieser war, wussten wir nicht und hatten auch keine Info darüber. Das Zimmer war spartanisch eingerichtet, für eine Nacht aber vollkommen ok.

Lovely spot very close to KEF airport for early morning flight. Was greeted upon arrival and shown room, which was comfortable and well appointed. Use of separate kitchen a bonus. Didn’t use hot tubs but they looked inviting. Great place.
