Convenient location. Easy to get to, near the mall, can walk to the metro and a variety of restaurants in the area. Saw one disturbed person walking around in the evening, near the parking, but we felt safe. QR code for paying the parking. Easy Peasy.
Checking in was fine. The room and hotel were clean, but a little tired looking. No water bottles in the room, but the fitness center has water and cups. My side of the bed sagged in the mid area. I'm a 175lb dude. I was okay with it as it kept my legs raised. I'd imagine some folks would not be okay with it.
The layout lends itself for sound to reverberate through the hotel. An open middle with rooms to the outside. There were a group of children. They were active and loud. Not a hotel, but a parent problem. We could hear the guests above us, but not beside. The rooms are somewhat nosier than what we're used to, but it didn't bother us. Everything in the room was pretty standard. I'd imagine the 2-room layout is perfect for families.
We stopped by the reception. The snack spread looked sad because it was picked at and mostly gone, but I think people go for the free alcohol.
The breakfast has a good variety. Eggs only for me. I'm all about the omelet chef. I appreciated the jalapenos and Cholula hot sauce packets for my eggs.
Hotels, in general, need to do something about tipping. Yes, they had an ATM machine, but we don't carry cash. Some type of tap or credit card tipping would be great.
