The was staff was excellent- very helpful and accommodating. Good location. Gave it a 4 star rating rather than a 5 because, being an older hotel, the rooms are quite small and the bathroom was very cramped. Our bath/shower unit was so small it was difficult to use.

Very comfortable stay. Easy to navigate around Victoria, 5 mins from the station with lots of restaurants close, the tour bus is also very close by, lots of parks to walk around and get lost in. London is at your hotel's doorstep.

We had a perfect overnight stay at the Rubens in a beautifully decorated standard double room. We visited Buckingham Palace and then indulged in a delicious afternoon tea at the hotel. Breakfast next morning was excellent and served at an appropriately five star standard. The hotel is in a great position for suitably royal visits as well as other great London locations. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
