Tiered hotel, well past it's best
Recently sold by Radisson, this hotel is getting desperate for a full refresh. Everything is getting tatty. Rooms arecred hot (In winter) and no opening windows for a bit of fresh air. Room light switches, for example, barely work. Room lighting so dim, you can't see what you are doing in the shower. Don't get me wrong. It isn't horrific, but there's not a single good point I can mention.

Poor Nights Sleep
Room was hot. The AC was difficult to change and very noisy. The temperature kept going up to 23 after we turned it down. It was difficult to sleep through the night. Minimal places to sit. The bed & 1 chair. No couch. One of the attached night stands was not beside the bed, but in an awkward spot around the corner. The room was clean but very dated.

The hotel itself, is gorgeous. Very spacious, a lot of natural lighting in the lobby and aesthetically pleasing. Customer service was lackluster. The check in took way longer than it should have. There were three customer service assistants behind the counter, and for some reason all three had to use one computer to help one customer. Very unusual. One big disappointment was the hot tub and pool were closed. I booked my stay based on this amenity. Very unfortunate. The room (2 queen bed) was an ok size. A little small. There was no microwave, glasses were dirty, bedsheets had a questionable stain and there was no toilet paper in either of the holders. I don’t plan to book this hotel again

Very good service for short or long stay
Very good stay. I would say our best stay in compare to all hotels in Canada. We usually go on multi day trips, and since COVID most of the hotels would only do “request call”, or “any other day” house keeping service which is quit frustrating since it is now 2025 and COVID restrictions are expected to be gone. But too many hotel still take advantage of this past restriction and rather cuts cost/staff but really affect guest comforts. I had even stayed in one hotel which offered breakfast but would only give us paper bagged breakfast. So I would say you can expect this hotel to be all back to normal and offered all the services that we would get before the pandemic.

Best Stay Ever
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. After chatting with manager Ben at the front desk, he offered us a free upgraded room, which we gratefully accepted. The upgraded room, which included a separated bedroom and lounge area, was just perfect for me and my wife, as she could go to bed early while I was able to stay up working without disturbing her. This was our best stay in Edmonton so far, and we will very likely choose this hotel again in the future.

Perfect but ...
Almost perfect, We had a great stay. Front desk staff was amazing and even event staff were amazingly quiet(so quiet, as they dismental a event late at night). The only thing is be aware that you can adjust the fridge behind it and they dont check ... our food was frozen ... good bye salad... Another incident happen as they throw my work clothes in the garbage ... (I did put a garbage can on the counter of the bathroom) and put my dirty laundry in it and they didnt use their brain and throw everything in the garbage a full set of working clothes.The pool was close for repair our whole stay ... Overall, it was clean, staff was friendly and their breakfast buffet was great. We felt safe there.

A Short Stay
1. The location is not good if you don’t have a car. The hotel is in an industrial area. 2. The older wing is looking its age: wrinkles in the hall carpets, paint chips in the bathroom counter. 3. The bedding was insufficient: sheet, cotton blanke, sheet. I asked for a duvet. 4. The room was clean. 5 The room was quiet. 6. Breakfast good. 7. Restaurant food good.

Very poor communication.
The main reason we booked this hotel was for pool & hot tub after checking in we are told the pool & hot tub are closed total waste of time, fuel and patience. The hotel knew we were arriving in advance, they should have informed us of the pool situation. Or informed Expedia & Hotel.com Several other guests had same issue.

The pool was out of order which was why i booked this hotel. But other than that it was very accompanied. No bacon at breakfast. I thought that was weird with a hot breakfast buffet.

The light of the entrance was broken, The bathroom flooded after 1 use, the swimming pool was broken too. The breakfast only offers vegetarian options, no meat at all.
