The entrance to this hotel is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! I instantly felt at home upon meeting the host. My only regret is my stay was cut short due to a canceled layover flight. The room has high ceilings, cool air conditioning and modern ceiling fan. EXCEPTIONALLY clean, quiet and tons of eateries near by. I felt safe and cannot wait to go back. I highly recommend as I've already shared with my family and friends about my wonderful experience. Love to New Orleans ❤️.

Nice neighborhood, close to everything! Easy to hop on the trolly and explore the city. We will definitely stay again at Historic Steet Car Inn.

This building was built in the 1890s with much of the feel of that era. The St. Charles Streetcar stops in front of the Inn and was the primary way we got around. Fabulous location to explore New Orleans from.

Comfortable sheets, strong and cold AC. Bathrooms were big with strong shower pressure. Love that we could grab coffee/tea and ice from the pantry anytime we please.

We love the location and it feels safe. The room at the front was very noisy however, hall/entrance as well as street noise and the room above. Would definitely stay again, just not in the front hall rooms.

Charming Hotel in Perfect Location

I've stayed here several times and would definitely recommend it. The location is central to most of the city's best neighborhoods, so it's easy to get uptown, to Magazine Street, Audubon Park, River Bend, or over to the quarter, Marigny, or Bywater. The Street Car has a stop right in front of the hotel will take you to Canal or all the way past River Bend and you can connect to other lines at both. Uber/Lyft was generally $10 or less to any of these places, as well. Rooms are cozy, there's a nice courtyard and balcony you can access and good fresh coffee each morning.

Super nice place. Friendly manager. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our floor was not even. So I even in fact, that if cause the bed to be very uncomfortable. Everything else was nice

Streetcar inn

Comfy beds. Second time staying here. Streetcar is right out front. Lots of food options on the street. Nice owner. Coffee available in the morning.

We enjoyed our stay, it does set on the edge of the garden district but was a short street car ride to the french quarter. Need some updates bathroom tiles bit my toe.

Rented two rooms - ‘deluxe queen’ and ‘premium king’. This isn’t a hotel it’s rooms with digital entries that we found unreliable. (They ended up giving us a physical key because the digital look/code didn’t work.) Deluxe room was 10% more $ but louder, smaller, and had a toilet that wasn’t properly attached to the floor and rocked. They moved us to a king with the door right on St Charles. Room itself much better but on the other side of the wall from the head of the bead was a metal gate that slammed shut at all hours, shaking the entire wall. The coffee was an empty commercial pot in the storage room with instructions on how to diy.
