Very good food - extensive breakfast buffet and we also ate in the restaurant one evening and enjoyed a very good meal. Our room's aircon was not working so a decent room fan was provided. Not a huge issue as we spent most of the time outside exploring the city. Overall, the hotel is very good - the location is excellent - very close to the underground trains and yet in a very quiet road.

Great location, lower your expectation on service

Second time here, mainly for the london eye view. Location is great. But service was really …merely acceptable. Slow, cold, not so friendly. Lower your expectation on warm and welcoming service. Otherwise, all good.

We were well taken care of from the time we entered the hotel until checkout. The staff is focused on providing excellent customer service. Great location and beautiful setting. Appreciated that the hotel had several dining options which helped expand the experience offered. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and dinner at One Twenty One, cocktails on the beautiful terrace and breakfast in The Green Parlour. We had a double room that was a nice size for a European hotel. The only slight downside to the location is that you do hear sounds of the underground trains. We stayed on the 5th floor.. it wasn't loud enough to keep us awake but it's noticeable. We would stay again but probable try for a higher floor next time. Overall great stay. We recommend this hotel for your London visit.

Absolutely first class from start to finish. Helpful, friendly staff. The room was spotlessly clean. Excellent food and drink service. It was my wife’s birthday and they even put in some nice additional touches, such as a complimentary glass of wine, a small birthday cake and a card. Nice touch. We also had unexpected room upgrade which was a very pleasant and welcome surprise.

Good location near boat and trains. Good food and service. The tv in the gym was not working and I was finished working out before the maintenance man arrived. It was walking distance to most attractions and was in a nice neighborhood . The flowers in the lobby were lovely .

The Hotel was ideally situated near the embankment, great for Covent Garden and moving about. Nice staff, We arrived , no air con, it wasn't sorted, given a fan, Asked to move, so we were moved on our 2nd day, I think we could have been offered a complimentary drink for the inconvenience, but nothing. I heard other people at reception with similar issues! 1st stay there, a slight tarnish with moving.

Service is what this hotel has going for it. The room is clean. I love the doormen at the front door saying good morning and welcoming you home every night. The room is quite small and does not match up with the photo for the type of room purchased. The shower leak so much that there’s a puddle of water to the point. It takes a whole towel to dry it up after you get out of the shower. Housekeeping was consistent. Front desk was helpful. The hotel could use a significant refurb. Nice bones, but it’s no longer a five star hotel.
