Starting with the lady at the front desk scrambling to help people, to double charging me for a pet fee that they still haven’t reversed, dirty floors in rooms, lamps not plugged in, the atmosphere felt cold. The photos made it look way more inviting than it is. I’ve tried calling three times to resolve the pet fee issue and no one can help me

This was by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. The pictures were nothing what it looks like. The rooms were completely disgusting and not cleaned at all. The bathroom had not been cleaned, there was water spots from the previous person whomstayed brkwn stains on the sink cabinet, the floor was sticky as soon as we walked in a grabbed a towel and water to clean it and the towel came up completely black( like never been mopped) there was tape holding the wall baseboards up from water damage spills all over the walls from other peoples drinks. Blood stained pillow cases, the pool was covered in sand. Syringes in the parking lot the neighbors were smoking drugs and it was coming in my room. No breakfast except bagel and cereal. It was completely awful. I wouldnt recommend not to mention loud. The front desk told me i wkukd have to talk to the manager for a refund 10 min after i got there i was ready to leave and wanted my money back. I have yet to hear from the manager. I want my money back!

We got a king sz bed, on ground floor which we asked for! They were so nice and gave us our request! Ladies at desk very friendly and helpful! Price was excellent! The lady helping with breakfast was so nice and friendly! We always stop at this place when traveling through Amarillo!

The room itself was just a room. I almost gave it three stars because there is a Taco Bell in the parking lot and you can hear the drive thru speaker from inside the room (the windows are thin); however, breakfast the next morning made me decide to give it four stars. The breakfast was really good (sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal, waffles, yogurt, and more) and the lady in charge of cleaning and keeping it up was really sweet. I would probably stay here again if I could get a room on the other side of the hotel from the Taco Bell.

It was very relaxing once we finally got settled in. I booked the first night and the website said. What you see is what you pay? First thing I was told was I had to pay a 50.00 deposit, and the way it was said to me was like a criminal on their way to jail. Made me feel like I was paying for a crime I had committed...we didn't see a single housekeeper in the first 5 days we were there. Well at least I got some much needed rest..the pool would've been nice. Covered up with a tarp which has nasty brown water on the top. The laundry was on the 2nd floor.. I am disabled and cannot climb stairs It could've been worse. I suppose...been here for a week and no discounts of any kind. Not even a senior discount..you should do a " stay 6 nights get the 7th night free....something..

This place is one we would definitely return to. If all La Quintas are like this, we are hooked. Everything was perfect. Might not look like the best on the outside but wow on the inside. People were great. So accommodating and friendly.
