Check-in was terrible. I arrived at 5 pm and not a single staff person was around. I waited for nearly a half hour. No one ever answered the phone. There was no sign informing guests of a return time. I had to do a business call in my car rather than inside the room I had to pay for (and connected to WiFi).
Aside from that this property is very nice. The room was clean and furnished well. It was quite comfortable and in better condition than I was expecting. Same with the lobby. I would stay here again if I knew it would be possible to encounter someone upon check-in.

Completely disappointed and disgusted with the hotel! My son and I traveled to Memphis for a college tour and stayed 1 night at this hotel. There were always people lurking at the front door every time we were coming out going from the hotel. The room was dirty - stray hairs in the bathroom, soap scum in the tub, and even a cockroach scurrying in the bathroom. The hotel was not maintained well and appears to have unskilled laborers attempting to do work to "fix" problems - mismatched and poorly fit tiling in bathroom, paint splatter on floors, non-working elevator button just to name a few. The continental breakfast that they supposedly offered included toast, tiny muffins, and dry cereal. There wasn't even milk or coffee available.
