8/10 Very good

Pleasant stay.

Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Very convenient location. There is noise from the bar but we knew that going in, and it is not obnoxious. Staff was great.

Loved the Skeffington Arms Hotel

From the time we walked in the door until the day we checked out, the people at the front desk went out of their way to make our stay the best ever. They were awesome!!! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Additional we loved going down to the bar to listen to the live music. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you ever get a chance!!!

Property location is PERFECT! In the heart of Eyre Square and all the pubs, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The Skeff Pub was awsome for any time of the day. Also visited the adjacent coffee shop NERO quite often for early morning and afternoon coffee. Great little spot!

Judith, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Lovely hotel and staff were wonderful. There was live music that was loud though, and we were hoping for good sleep. Maybe we should have known that Galway city centre is lively. We had never been there before.

Kenzie, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The place was great. It’s definitely worth a younger crowd who doesn’t mind a lot of music because the place is bumping at night, but it was so cute. The decor was cute. The people were amazing there. I had a great time my mom not so much lol

Very helpful receptionist assisted us in finding the hotel whilst we were negotiating the one way traffic system. Excellent breakfast and very clean and comfortable room.

Loved our stay!

We loved it! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We felt immediately welcome. The room was basic but all we needed. Breakfasts were delicious and varied enough to have something different each day. The hotel provide earplugs because of the noise of the bar downstairs but we found the room quiet and slept easily. The proximity to nightlife and sightseeing made it a perfect walkable location.
Lee, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great little spot In the center of everything, only thing I would say is that it has a great bar attached, so can be a bit noisy when you go to bed

Super friendly staff, great location, unique look... the only downfall is the most of the pipes early in the morning

10/10 Exceptional

Great location in the center of Galway. Front desk staff was outstanding. No issue with noise on the second floor. Downstairs pub had a fun band and good drinks. Would definitely stay again.

10/10 Exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were fantastic. The location is great, the room was very spacious, and the breakfast was good. The only issue with this hotel is that it can be a bit loud at night because of the pub downstairs. It wasn't a huge problem for us, but this wouldn't be the best place for light sleepers.
