It was already night when we arrived and it turned out at the hotel that they didn’t have the room available that we had booked. Staff member at the reception was great, she handled the situation very well. Eventually we got the room where whole family could stay together for that night.

A need for renevation

Location was good, right in the middle of Tromsø. Only few parking places so you had to leave your car to a very expensive public park. Breakfast was good but rooms were rather old, bathroom ventilation was very dirty and needed some cleaning. Rooms very also very small and with very little of space where to put your belongings. A lock to the room was also not working, so be sure to double check that the door really closes. A renovation is needed.

No A/C and very small shower but still nice

The staff was great. You need to know to ask for a spot with a vehicle charger if you have an electric car. If it is hot out, you will be hot as there is no A/C. We did not leave the window open because of the concert outside and the sea gulls in the morning (would be too loud). The shower is very small. Breakfast is traditional and nice.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! It is convenient to shopping and restaurants and has a beautiful view of the harbour and mountains! Staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet has many many incredible offerings, including gluten free grains, bread, and much more! 4 varieties of pickled herring! The Chef is friendly and knowledgeable about GF items.

The hotel is situated in the area you ideally want to be as a tourist visiting Tromso. Most excursions meetups are nearby, bus to/from the airport stops in front of the hotel, just a short walk to convenience stores and restaurants. They also offer tons of breakfast options catering to all kinds of dietary needs. Also, they’re bathroom floors are heated which is very nice to have for winter stays.

They didnt clean the room properly or at all (we stayed for 2 days). The conditioner bottle was fixed to the wall with some kind of glue - fell off the wall immediately. On top of this, the reception staff didnt greet us whenever we returned to the hotel. They didnt even look up (happened every time). I think in the hospitality industry that is basic level of courtesy.
