Either understaffed or they simply didn’t care. No one ever serviced the room, EVEN after we called that morning asking for a service! We called that evening when we returned to the room and it’s took 2 hours just to receive towels and new bedding. The door on the mini fridge was gross. The “WiFi” was nonexistent, it never showed up the entire 4 days! It’s way cheaper to pay for public parking thank the what they charge you! Which free parking was advertised… the only perk is how close it is to the river. Outside of that, pay the extra 80$ and stay at the Hilton or Double Tree across the street!

They lied about my stay.They told me that it would be a extra fifty dollars to check in at ten a m. And they charged me for a whole day. I thought that was terrible. I had no choice but to pay for a whole day. Because I had food for the kids that needed to stay cold. They should have never told me an extra fifty bucks.And I would have planned ahead if I knew it was gonna cost me an extra hundred and twenty-five. For 2hrs.

This hotel is in a great location however the street outside is super busy & extremely loud and has cars hot-rodding outside all night long making it hard to sleep. The bathroom toilet is very low to the ground & was super old & stained. They forgot to clean our room and when I complained the Mgr. said since Covid the guest has to request when they want the room clean! Gee--why didn't they tell me this when we checked in? The hotel has no elevator so you have to lug heavy luggage up absolutely filthy dirty stairwells on both sides of hotel and the walkway to get to the rooms looks like they have not power-washed the exterior in years!! The whole place is crying for a paint job inside & out.

The staff at this location were great to speak with. The unfortunate part of this hotel is the location. The hotel is old and it shows everywhere you look. It needs a full remodel. The rooms were clean, but very old and worn condition. With the location being downtown Savannah in the Historic North District, you would think that would be a nice experience. It was not. The environment in the area is extremely loud and surrounded by clubs. The staff can not do anything about people parking on the street with loud car stereos playing late into the evening when trying to sleep. They even said the local police won't do anything because that is what just goes on in the area regardless of the local 9PM noise ordinance. I was even told that the same owner owns multiple locations downtown with some being higher end brands, but they all get the same noise complaints on the regular. I do not recommend this place due to conditions and location. I also do not recommend downtown Savannah unless you are into the late night partying and ok with all the noise. That is clearly a City of Savannah issue.
